Asbestos Containing materials
Asbestos Linoleum Floor Covering

Linoleum Floor Coverings were a simpler and cheaper alternative to vinyl and ceramic floor tiles.

Highly Dangerous
Class A License Required

Linoleum Floor Coverings were a simpler and cheaper alternative to vinyl and ceramic floor tiles. Usually stenciled with a pattern, this material is quite dangerous once disturbed. Linoleum or ‘Lino’ contains a hidden paper backing which, you guessed it, contains the asbestos component. Pulling, tugging, or ripping on Linoleum releases the asbestos fiber within the paper backing. A Class (A) Asbestos Licence holder is required to handle or remove.
