Asbestos Containing Doors are extremely common still today. These doors were manufactured in the 1960’s – 1980’s as fire rated doors and found in many buildings as apartment entry doors, and fire stair entry/exit doors. The doors contain an inner core made up of generally pure compressed asbestos compound. These doors are classified as friable asbestos and Class (A) Asbestos Licence holder is required to handle or remove.
