Exterior asbestos cement cladding or wall sheeting was a popular product used in Australia from the 1950’s to the late 1980’s. Cheap to install, durable, lightweight, and rigid, the sheeting replaced the timber weatherboard, brick, and sandstone era of the early 1900s. Classified as non-friable asbestos. A Class (B) Asbestos Licence holder is required to handle or remove.
