Compressed fibre cement flooring panels were a popular product used in Australia from the 1970’s to the late 1980’s. This product was cheap to install, durable, and rigid. The panels are 10-20mm thick, usually installed in wet areas or areas to imitate a concrete slab, making it suitable for laying down a cement bed for ceramic floor tiles. Classified as non-friable asbestos. A Class (B) Asbestos Licence holder is required to handle or remove.
